Job Description

Gameday Operations is the encompassing focus of event management for all home athletic events. Gameday Operations covers pre game setup, event logistics for visiting teams/in game support for balls and officials/event breakdown. This position is ideal for anyone looking to work with a team in a fast paced environment for events. Duties for this position may include backup scoreboard operators, support for ball movement during soccer and volleyball games, facility support, and more to support all UNC Asheville Athletics home events.

This position requires knowledge of the rules and regulations for soccer and volleyball to support all pieces of a successful gameday.

Home events begin early August (before classes) and occur after 5:00 PM on weekdays and 2:00 PM on Saturdays. There will be multiple games a week with an event every Saturday lasting around 3 hours.

Strong knowledge of the rules of soccer and volleyball

Ability work with a team and independently in a fast paced environment

Ability to represent UNC Asheville in a customer service role for fans and community members in attendance

Ability to work outside
