Job Description

Presentation Consultant — Mass Communication Department

The Mass Communication Department seeks a student Presentation Consultant to support students enrolled in MCOM courses by helping them deliver effective professional presentations.

The consultant will work one-on-one and in small groups with students to strengthen message clarity, organization, visual design (slides and supporting media), delivery skills, and audience engagement. This role supports presentations across journalism, public relations, film, and strategic communication courses, helping students translate course concepts into polished, professional presentations.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience with presentation design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva), and the ability to coach students in a supportive, constructive way. This position is part-time and student-facing, focused on coaching and not grading or evaluation.
