Manage the maintenance of the Teaching Kitchen as a clean, organized and safe space for experiential learning. Conduct kitchen checks (tracking and noting conditions of space regularly and after reservations), wash kitchen towels, kitchen tools & equipment organization, clean and tidy the space regularly, communicate with supervisor regularly, take initiative and be willing to work independently, assist with conducting kitchen orientations once trained, other tasks as needed. If possible, ingredient shopping and/or co-teaching cooking classes. Food service experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred and having high attention to detail is required. 2-10 hours per week, variable. |
