This position will work directly with Dr. Muhammad Nawaz in Economics. The research assistant position will be responsible for assisting Dr. Nawaz with Summer 2025 research per his University Research Council grant allocation. The student will work directly with Dr. Nawaz conducting research and will have the opportunity to collaborate in all aspects of research. Specific activities may include reviewing the literature; data collection, analysis, and presentation; writing grant applications, reports and research articles; among other activities. Student work may lead to special opportunities such as presentations at conferences and coauthored journal submissions. The position will allow the Department of Economics to fulfill our mission of providing students excellent teaching, mentoring and undergraduate research opportunities while simultaneously achieving our stated mission of encouraging faculty learning and scholarship.
