Job Description

This job is focused around Gameday Assistance for the '24-25 Basketball season for UNC Asheville.

We are looking for individual's with a passion for working in sports, event management, marketing, broadcast, new media, and communication with skills that favor a fast paced environment.

Tasks may include sweeping floors in game breaks, assisting with Marketing, assisting with Broadcast, in game promotions, and assisting with Operations that support UNC Asheville basketball Home games.

Applicants will be reviewed with priority to those who have off campus living during the semester break as we will still be hosting games. When the spring semester starts in January we will also work with on campus students. All home games will be after 5:00 on weekdays and Saturdays in the afternoon unless there is a special case.

This job will revolve around availability and scheduling rather than a set schedule.

- Critical thinking and ability to adapt

- Excellent spoken communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Saturday Availability and Wednesday Night Availability

- Media Skills for operational work (nothing specific, but the basic understanding and desire to learn tech skills)

- Ability to represent UNC Asheville in a professional setting and work with others in a team environment.
