Gameday Operations is the encompassing logistics for UNC Asheville Athletic home competition events. This includes assistance with the flow of all games, administration support, gameday statistics, and more. Gameday Operations are necessary for every home athletic event to support staff, teams, and fans. This position is ideal for UNC Asheville students with a passion for event management and Athletic operations. All positions for Gameday Operations are flexible to move around and reflect student areas of interest and skills. This position overall will assist with Video Broadcast and Marketing on an as needed basis to support all needs of home athletic events. Gameday Operations Assistant is a position that is flexible to need but will focus on support logistics during home events. This includes in-game support of teams and coaches with ball management, maintaining safety of student-athletes, working with a team of other students to support a common goal, and more. On the technical side, this position will support scoreboard operations for soccer, volleyball, and baseball. Volleyball- Ball support on each side of the court for play and scoreboard Soccer-Sideline support for balls with pace of play and scoreboard Basketball- Floor sweeping during in game breaks to prevent injury and facility maintenance Baseball- Scoreboard |
