Overview: The purpose of the University Ambassador program is to consistently provide an excellent, accurate, informative, positive, and equitable campus visit experience. Our goal is not to have every student that visits UNC Asheville to apply and enroll. Instead, our goal is to give our visitors as much support and information as possible so that prospective students and their supporters can make a college choice that is best for them.

Job Responsibilities: Provide daily tours for prospective students and their guests Staff the Welcome Center in Chestnut Hall to greet visitors, answer questions, and facilitate tour operations Provide group tours for visiting schools, programs, and other organizations Assist with various administrative tasks to support the Ambassador program and the Office of Admission Team meetings every other week Various Saturday Recruitment events such as Open House, Admitted Students Day, and Junior Preview Day Represent the student perspective in university communications projects, contributing to content creation for emails and social media Share photos and quotes to strengthen the authenticity and relatability of university messaging
