Job Description

Distance Learning Services (DLS) is seeking talented student staff members to provide technical & customer service support within on-campus interactive video facilities. This entry level student position has potential for long term advancement within DLS and other Information Technology Services departments.

Required Qualifications

Currently, we are seeking students with availability to work a portion of the following time blocks in Fall 2026.

Monday/Wednesday 11:15am-1:15pm, 2:30-4:30pm.
Tuesday/Thursday 8am-10am, 10-11:45am, 2:30-4:30pm.
Friday 9:45-11:15am.

Distance Learning Services Staff operate audio, video, computer equipment and systems, support and manage web-conference sessions, and serve as the departmental representative during assigned programs and events.

Student staff are typically assigned 10-15 hours of on-campus work each week, and most shifts occur between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Initial work schedules are determined each semester to support the needs of scheduled programs & events according to student staff availability.
