Figure models - nude, semi-nude - needed for Painting and Drawing classes and Open Sessions for painting and drawing students. Must have Spring 2026 availability on the following days/times, as these are when the classes that need models will occur: Monday & Wednesday Combination Mon - 3:15-6:50pm (Drawing I) -and- Wed - 5:15-8:50pm (Drawing Open Session, the same model replicates poses from Monday's class) These sessions go hand in hand; if you do one, you need to be able to do the other; these are Nude and Semi-Nude, sometimes Clothed Tuesday 8:15-11:50am (Foundation Drawing) May or may not use models, TBD; these are Clothed, sometimes Semi-Nude and Nude 8:15-11:50am (Painting I) Usually uses models later in the semester, so students build up their skills to it; Clothed Tuesday & Thursday Combination Tue - 1:10-3:00pm (Foundation Drawing) -and- Thur - 1:10-3:00pm (Foundation Drawing, the same model may replicate poses from the other class) May or may not use models, TBD These sessions go hand in hand; if you do one, you need to be able to do the other; these are Clothed, sometimes Semi-Nude and Nude Wednesday 8:15-11:50am (Drawing II/Pastel Explorations) Uses models starting midway through the semester, through the end of the semester; Nude 8:15-11:50am (Foundation Drawing) May or may not use models, TBD 3:30-6:50pm (Painting III/IV) May or may not use models, TBD Thursday 8:15-11:50am (Painting II) Uses Clothed and Nude models Open Sessions, Days/Dates TBD, 7:00-9:00pm (usually 2-3 sessions/semester) Nude, Semi-Nude, Clothed Models with previous experience are encouraged to apply. - Poses may include: sitting, standing, reclining and range in duration from 1 minute to several class periods (as directed by the instructor).
- Appropriate breaks will be provided, typically 5 minutes for every 35 minutes of modeling.
- Models must provide a robe and bring it with them for each session. If the models have long hair, it must be up and secured.
- Models are required to be present and alert for the entire class.
- Models must sit as still as possible during their sessions.
- Models may not have facial hair- for Drawing I.
- Start time is not arrival time. Models are required to be robed and ready to pose at the indicated start time.
- Models are paid $15/hour and paid as either Student Workers or Temporary Employees of the University.
- Time sheets are completed online every two weeks through OnePort.
- Models are paid every two weeks by direct deposit.
- Computers for time input are available in Owen Hall Room 208.
- Models who fail to show up without contacting the Administrative Assistant (with a minimum of 24 hours notification of absence) will be permanently removed from the employment list.
- Because of the need for a variety of body types, models are usually scheduled for 1 to 4 times per class per semester. Sometimes it is more/less depending on the needs of the class and the department.

Model Information sheets and modeling rules are to be read, signed and returned before being scheduled. State Application forms, W-4 forms, Authorization forms, Direct Pay forms and I-9s are completed in Human Resources located in 217 Phillips Hall.
